Culley C. Carson III, M.D.
Culley Carson, MD is a Professor of Surgery, Chief Division
of Urology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
in Chapel Hill NC He was the John Sloan Rhodes and John Flint
Rhodes Distinguished Professor of Urology in 2001. Dr. Carson
is also the Editor in Chief of Contemporary Urology.
Dr. Carson received his undergraduate degree from Trinity
College in Hartford Connecticut and his Doctor of Medicine
from George Washington University School of Medicine, in Washington
DC. Dr. Carsons honors include Alpha Omega Alpha, United
States Air Force Command Flight Surgeon of the Year, 1974,
Royal Society of Medicine Book Award and the Walter Freeman
Research Prize.
Edward Everett Anderson, M.D.
Edward Anderson, MD has been a Professor of Urology at Duke
University Medical Center in Durham, NC since 1972. He obtained
his Undergraduate degree from Duke University and his Doctor
of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. His honors
included Alpha Omega Alpha, Sigma Xi, Tau Psi Omega and Psi
Chi.
Fred E. Govier, M.D.
Fred E. Govier, MD is the head of the Section of Urology and
Renal Transplantation at the Virginia Mason Medical Center
in Seattle, Washington. He is a clinical associate professor
of urology at the University of Washington, and past president
of the Washington State Urology Society.
Dr. Govier was an undergraduate student at the University
of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE, and received his MD from the University
of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Govier performed
a surgical internship and residency at the University of Oregon
Health Sciences Center, and then was a resident and Chief
Resident in Urologic Surgery at Duke University.
